IIT Bombay Faculty Recruitment 2021 Vacancies
- Total Vacancies: 50 posts, Age: the candidates should be preferably below 35 years of age. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NC/PwD candidates is applicable as per Government of India norms.
- Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in the Academic Pay Level-12 ₹101500-167400/- (with basic pay of ₹101500/- and on completion of 3 years of service, shall move to Academic Level-13A1 with basic pay of ₹131400/- per month.)
- Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in the Academic Pay Level-10 of 7th CPC ₹57700-98200/- (basic pay will be ₹84700/- per month and shall move to Academic Pay Level11 after 1 year with basic pay of ₹89900/- per month and after 2 years the basic pay of ₹92600/-per month.)

Ph.D. with 1st class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree, and a good academic record throughout. Research during/ after Ph.D. leading to publications in reputed journals and other reputed venues, satisfying academic-unit specific eligibility criteria.
