Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), a statutory body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Govt. of India, is recruitment Engineers as Scientist-b for its organization for 2022 batch entry. The shortlisting of suitable candidates for Personal Interview will be based on the valid score of GATE-2019, GATE-2020, or GATE-2021.
BIS Scientist-B Recruitment 2022 Vacancies
- Scientist – B: 22 vacancies (UR-15, EWS-02, OBC-03, SC-02) (PWD-02) in various disciplines, Pay Scale: Pay level-10 in 7th CPC ₹56100-177500, Qualification: Engineering Degree in relevant disciplines with 60% marks. (50% marks for SC/ ST). Having a valid GATE score of 2019/2020/2021, Age: 21-30 years as of 28/02/2022.
- Civil Engineering: 11 vacancies
- Chemical Engineering: 04 vacancies
- Textile Engineering: 02 vacancies
- Electrical Engineer: 05 vacancies
BIS Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent with not less than sixty per cent marks in aggregate [fifty per cent for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes]
- Valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score of the year 2019/2020/2021. The GATE score must be valid as on the closing date of the application.
Age Limit
Candidates applying for the posts of Scientist B posts must be between 21 to 30 years of age.
